Membership in The Beverly Theatre Guild is open to all. Our membership strives to reflect the diverse community that we serve, without regard to race, creed, ethnic origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Members span the country and provide the foundation for the wonderful work we do.
Purpose of Membership
We are a social organization made up of people who love theatre – and specifically producing, creating, and supporting the live performing arts. Through this common purpose, our members share their various talents and build lifelong friendships.

Membership Opportunities:
Throughout the year the BTG membership does more than just create incredible art. We also have various opportunities to gather socially and build community through the activities that take place. Obviously, this has been limited by health constraints. However, some examples of past activities include:

Decision-Making Opportunities
Members are invited to our monthly meetings and hold voting privileges on major decisions within the BTG. Our members help choose our plays and musicals, elect our Board of Directors, perform annual audit review functions of our accounting system and participate in various other committees, as needed (ticket, COVID-19 committees)
Volunteer
Our members volunteer in many areas of the BTG. Without the dedication of our volunteers, we would not be able to create the incredible theatrical productions that we do. We have countless volunteer opportunities including:
On Stage Talent – Actors, Singers, Dancers, Performers, Musicians
Production Talent – Set Designers and Builders, Technical Designers and Operations, Costuming,
Prop Masters, Producers, House Managers, Stage Managers
Lobby Talent – Ticket Agents, Greeters, Ushers, Individuals in charge of Basket Raffles, Concessions, and Split-the-Pot
Administrative Talent – Membership Mailer Assemblers, Grant Writers and Editors, Newsletter Contributors, Party Planners
